BALDWIN HILLS, CA (June 28, 2024) – A 14-year-old was injured in a hit-and-run skateboarding accident on Ursula Avenue near Pinaforce Street.

According to Los Angeles police, the hit-and-run crash occurred at approximately 7 a.m. on February 2. For an unknown reason, the driver of a vehicle, which authorities say was a Honda Element or Honda Pilot, left the scene after striking a 14-year-old who was seen on surveillance video riding a skateboard along the sidewalk before crossing the street.

Paramedics subsequently arrived and cared for the victim, who sustained injuries to his right hand and elbow. The City of Los Angeles is currently offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and identification of the driver.
