Arman Tsarukyan was banned for nine months for punching a fan at UFC 300

Arman Tsarukyan was suspended for nine months for an incident with a fan during UFC 300.

The Armenian-born Russian fighter met an MMA fan as he made his way to the Octagon for his fight against former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira in April.

The confrontation took place at the T-Mobile Arena and shocked both the live audience and millions of viewers around the world.

As Tsarukyan approached the Octagon, he unexpectedly stopped and threw a right punch at the fan.

UFC President Dana White anticipated that the fan might take legal action against Tsarukyan, but the fan decided not to take legal action.

Nevertheless, the Nevada Athletic State Commission decided to ban Tsarukyan for nine months and fine him $25,000.
