Douglas County High School teacher arrested for alleged sexual assault of child

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colorado – A Douglas County High School teacher was arrested Tuesday for alleged sexual abuse of a child by a guardian.

James Thomure, 55, of Centennial is being held at the Douglas County Detention Facility on $20,000 bail.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office did not release any details about its investigation. According to the Douglas County High School website, Thomure is part of the Individuals & Societies Division.
