One person arrested after shooting of two women in Vicksburg

Two women were shot in a domestic incident in Vicksburg.

Early Monday morning, Vicksburg Police responded to a reported disturbance in the 2500 block of Drummond Street.

Officers discovered that two women had been shot by a man during a domestic dispute.

Both women were taken to a medical facility for treatment of their injuries.

The male suspect was arrested after a short chase. The case is pending further investigation.
