After numerous vandalism attacks in parks, Shawano police are increasing their patrols

SHAWANO, Wis. (WBAY) – In response to a recent increase in vandalism incidents in city parks, Shawano Police are increasing patrol activity.

Officials said surveillance cameras have been upgraded in key areas where such incidents are likely to occur.

There will also be more night patrols in city parks.

Police are urging parents to talk to their children about respecting public property. Officials are also asking the public to report any suspicious activity in the parks in the future.
