Now we are looking for him to interview him and find out what role he played in this.” The police chief said people in black vehicles also fired shots at that location. “We are still trying to determine if the person who lost their life had anything to do with the stolen vehicle. Initial information suggests that he did,” Wade said. “We still need to determine and verify that information.” Anyone who can assist with the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 601-355-8477 (TIPS) or contact Jackson Police at 601-960-1234.
