One was hospitalized after a chainsaw attack in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Louisiana (KLFY) – A man was arrested Monday after attacking another person with a chainsaw.

Accordingly Franklin PoliceOfficers responded to the 600 block of H Street for a report of a person being attacked by a man with a chainsaw on Monday. The victim was flown by helicopter to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Albert Mitchell was taken into custody and charged with second-degree aggravated assault. The investigation is currently ongoing.
