Man armed with sword tries to kidnap the woman he raped

In a shocking incident, a woman who was allegedly raped multiple times in the past escaped an attempted kidnapping at her wedding in the Indian district of Madhya Pradesh, local police confirmed.

Police said Salim Khan alias Kalu, who is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting the woman, entered the wedding reception with a sword in his hand.

The main suspect was accompanied by his accomplices, armed with iron bars and sickles, who dragged the 22-year-old bride into the street.

Fortunately, a larger group of wedding guests retaliated against the suspects and forced them to flee on their bicycles.

The main defendant was accused of raping the victim several times, filming the sexual assaults and using the videos for blackmail purposes.

Eventually, the victim’s parents arranged for her to marry another man, but on the wedding day, Salim broke into the function and tried to kidnap her with the help of three other accomplices: Sameer, Jodha and Shahrukh.
