Rodeo star Spencer Wright’s 3-year-old son dies after accident with toy tractor

The Wright family mourns an unimaginable loss.

Levi Wrightthe 3-year-old son of the rodeo star Spencer Wright and wife Katharina Kruegerdied on June 2, a close friend of the family confirmed on social media on June 3rd.

“I can’t describe how hard the last two weeks have been,” Mindy Sue Clark wrote in a June 3 Facebook post. “From the moment my phone rang the night of his accident to last night when I got the news that he had to go. I don’t want to focus on the bad or sad, even though it feels like someone ripped my heart out and crushed it right in front of my eyes.”

Mindy continued to praise the community that came together to support Levi, saying, “I want to focus on the many miracles we all witnessed during those 12 days.”

“The response to Levi’s story has been absolutely incredible,” she continued. “How many people have told us that our names were constantly in the search bars of their social media, waiting for updates. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people surrounded our best little buddy, praying for him and giving Levi and his family a loving hug.”

Mindy noted that she will always be grateful to be his “Aunt Mindy” and concluded, “I love you, Beans! I’m going to miss you like crazy, buddy!”
