Suspect arrested on warrant in Yesler Terrace – KIRO 7 News Seattle

SEATTLE – Seattle police arrested a suspect on suspicion of committing a crime in Seattle’s Yesler Terrace neighborhood on Friday.

At approximately 11:14 p.m., patrol officers located the suspect in the 1000 block of South Jackson Street and arrested him.

The 31-year-old suspect had a gun with an extended magazine and over 100 rounds of ammunition, police said.

According to police, the suspect also possessed burglary tools and suspected stolen goods.

The suspect was booked into the King County Jail on charges of illegal possession of a firearm.

Detectives from the Gun Violence Reduction Unit are leading the investigation and may file additional charges.
