American Heart Association to Teach Hands-Only CPR at Buffalo Public Schools Summit

WHAT:The American Heart Association and the Buffalo Bills are team up to save lives . As part of a collaboration to increase awareness of CPR in the community,

the American Heart Association will provide hands-on CPR training at the Buffalo Public Schools Summit.

FOR WHAT:With nearly 3 in 4 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occurring at home, knowing how to perform CPR is extremely important.(1). CPR, especially
carried out immediately, could double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chances of survival(2).

The event is free and open to the public.
