Tony Asekhauno raped me in his office, reveals another ex-student

Another former student of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has accused the head of the department, Prof. Tony Asekhauno, of rape.

In a statement on X on Sunday, Alex Vivy Nnabue claimed that Asekhauno raped her in his office after repeatedly failing her in his course.

Asekhauno had previously been accused of sexual harassment by his former student Mercy McQuin.

In a statement on X on Monday, McQuin revealed that the allegedly lecherous lecturer refused to correct her exam paper and demanded sexual gratification.

However, in Ms. Nnabue’s case, she alleged that he raped her in his office during her final year of college after she had failed three times.

“Tony Asekhauno intentionally failed my logic class three times until he raped me in his office my senior year and gave me a C. I kept failing because I refused to go out with him.”

She further added: “Days after he raped me, he saw me in a hall with a group of people and asked if I was looking at him because he had slept with me.”

She also claimed that the Asekhauno instructed her to book a hotel room for him so that he could spend “some quality time” with her, which she flatly refused.

“When I was not brave and a little brave, he also asked me to book a hotel and I asked, ‘With what money?'”

“If I have anything to say about it, he will die in pain. The things he did to me in this office and the people who enabled his tyranny for years will die painfully and miserably,” Miss Nnabue added.
