Buffalo Bills’ AFC East rival QB has laughable NFL quote

It seems like every time some high-profile NFL players speak their mind, the media remembers it for a while. When it comes to the Buffalo Bills and their players, they generally keep much of their stuff in the building despite some issues that have arisen recently. Their biggest well-publicized drama involved wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who is now out of the building with Buffalo trading Diggs to the Houston Texans.

Within the AFC East, there is a team that has been all talk but no action in recent years. That’s right, the New York Jets are in the news again due to their quarterback Aaron Rodgers expressing his opinion on the Jets hosting six prime time games in 2024. Rodgers said that the Jets are a “one to watch” team heading into next season. .

The Jets have a brutal schedule in the first half of the season and we now have the pleasure of seeing the Jets in many prime time games. Sure, Rodgers is a generational quarterback on the field, but he’s also someone who likes to talk for attention, and him saying he and the Jets are “ones to watch” is completely laughable.

Over the past eight seasons, the Jets have finished in last place in the AFC East despite having talented players, especially on defense. There is no doubt that they can play excellent defense, but they have yet to have a promising season. Last year was supposed to be the year they traded for Rodgers, only to have that dream snatched away once Rodgers injured his Achilles four games into the season.

Rodgers is a 40-year-old quarterback who is coming off a serious injury that will limit his direct play that he once had. Even though New York is the biggest market in sports and will always be talked about, there is no reason for NFL fans to be excited for the Jets this season. It seems like something always happens where they catch a spark of bad luck and it ends in another disappointment of a season.
