Riddle Man Jailed for Alleged Strangulation/Menacing Incident – KQEN News Radio

A Riddle man was jailed Wednesday for alleged strangulation and a menacing incident.

According to an Oregon State Police report, just before 8 a.m., a victim called and said the incident occurred on Highway 138E around Wright Creek and Medicine Creek. The victim claimed she was attacked by 45-year-old Courtney Mitchell and identified him to law enforcement.

Mitchell was eventually contacted and taken into custody. He was charged with strangulation, threats and coercion. Mitchell was held on $10,000 bail.
