Early Morning Pursuit Turns Deadly, 2 Fresno Men Dead | YourCentralValley.com

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two Fresno men are dead after a motorcyclist crashed into a car during a chase early Saturday morning, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers say they noticed a motorcycle violating vehicle regulations around 1 a.m. and attempted to stop the driver. The driver was unable to give in and a pursuit ensued.


According to investigators, the pursuit ended when the motorcyclist collided with a car at Ashlan Avenue and Maroa Avenue.

Investigators say the motorcyclist, 25-year-old James Baker, and the driver of the car, 60-year-old Juan Jaramillo, died as a result of the collision.

Fresno Police responded to the scene and are conducting the investigation.
