Child uninjured in hit-and-run in Airdrie – DiscoverAirdrie.com

Airdrie RCMP have confirmed they were called to report a 12-year-old pedestrian involved in a collision just before 9 p.m. Friday.

According to police, the child was in the crosswalk when a vehicle described as a red truck struck the pedestrian near Main Street and Stonegate Drive before driving off. No injuries were reported.

Police said there were no witnesses to the incident at this time and a license plate number for the vehicle could not be obtained.
