SSGC suspends gas deliveries due to pipeline modernization

In an effort to improve gas pressure for industrial, commercial and residential customers in Karachi, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has intensified its efforts. The company will connect a new 31-kilometer long, 24-inch diameter trunk pipeline to its system today (Sunday). According to a spokesperson of SSGC, this integration of the pipeline will necessitate temporary suspension of gas supply in several areas from 5:00 am today, July 28 (Sunday), to 5:00 am on July 29 (Monday). Surjani Town: All sectors. North Karachi: All sectors. Manghopir Town, Qasba Town. Orangi Town: All sectors, North Nazimabad: All blocks, Federal B Area: All blocks, Gulberg: including all blocks, Buffer zone, SITE Industrial Area, Baldia Town, Ittehad Town, Mauri Pur. Key affected areas: Gulshan-e-Maimar, Ahsanabad, Jehangir Goth, SITE Super Highway and surrounding areas.
