CUMMINS INVESTIGATION INITIATED BY FORMER LOUISIANA ATTORNEY GENERAL: Kahn Swick & Foti, LLC is investigating the officers and directors of Cummins Inc.

At December 22, 2023The company announced an agreement in principle with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and other state and federal regulators “to resolve civil claims related to the company’s emissions certification and compliance process for certain engines” and expected “a charge of approximately $100 million.” 2.04 billion US dollars in the fourth quarter of 2023 to resolve these claims and related matters.” On the same day, the U.S. Department of Justice issued a press release on the matter, in which it also announced that the company “allegedly installed defeat devices on 630,000 RAM 2500 and 3500 pickup truck engines from model years 2013 to 2019,” but noted that “there are also allegedly has installed unspecified additional emissions control devices in 330,000 2019 through 2023 RAM 2500 and 3500 pickup truck engines.”

Subsequently, the Company and certain of its executives were charged in a class action lawsuit alleging violations of federal securities laws by failing to disclose material information during the Class Period.
