The incident took place last week when Dasaur and his wife Viviana Zamora were returning home. According to local reports, Dasaur, who hails from Agra (Uttar Pradesh), married Zamora on June 29.

A video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The video, posted on microblogging platform X (formerly known as X ) by a user named @ManyFaces_Death, has garnered 442,800 views, 2,900 likes, and 391 comments since its publication.

In the video, taken by another driver, the victim can be seen getting out of his car holding a pistol in his right hand. As he approaches the pickup truck, he hits the door with the gun. He then takes the gun in his left hand. The driver of the pickup truck responds by shooting. Dasaur immediately falls to the ground. The shooter did not even leave his vehicle during the confrontation, which lasted only a few seconds.

Dasaur was taken to hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The victim’s widow told police: “I held him as he bled to death while we waited for the ambulance.”

Indianapolis Police Department (IMPD) officer Amanda Hibschman, who responded to the incident, said the suspected shooter was arrested at the scene.

“After further investigation and after consultation with the Marion County District Attorney’s Office, the man was released,” the police spokesman said, suggesting that the shooter may have acted in self-defense.
