7 people injured during violent night in Philadelphia – NBC10 Philadelphia

This weekend began with violence in Philadelphia: In several incidents during the night, a total of seven people were shot or stabbed.

According to police, the first incident occurred around 10:54 p.m. Friday in the 3100 block of N. 16th Street. A 46-year-old man was stabbed once in the right arm and once in the right leg by a known suspect in an apartment.

Police said the man was taken to hospital by private vehicle and is in stable condition. A 26-year-old man was arrested over this incident.

Then, on Friday around 11:03 p.m., police said officers responded to the 2100 block of N. Dover St. after a 15-year-old boy was shot once in the left buttock.

The boy was taken to hospital and his condition is stable, police said. No arrests were made and no weapons were seized.

Just an hour later, at around 12:38 a.m. Saturday, police responded to the 6300 block of N. Broad Street where a triple shooting had occurred.

According to authorities, a 19-year-old woman suffered gunshot wounds to the face and right arm, a 20-year-old woman suffered gunshot wounds to the right arm and upper right chest area, and a 21-year-old woman suffered multiple gunshot wounds to both legs.

All three women were taken to hospital and are in stable condition, according to police.

Then, around 1 a.m. Saturday, police said a 30-year-old man was shot twice in the abdomen in the area of ​​the 3400 block of N. Broad St. The man was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle and is in critical condition.

Police said officers were unable to locate the exact location of the shooting. No arrests were made in this incident and no weapon was recovered.

Finally, a 44-year-old man was stabbed twice in the right thigh by police while in a vehicle in the area of ​​700 W. Wingohocking Street at around 1:34 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the man was taken to hospital where his condition was stable.
