The Death on the Nile Actor, 37, appeared on Piers Morgan uncensored to discuss previous allegations against him – including accusations of sexual and physical abuse and cannibalism.

“Let’s first address the obvious. Are you a cannibal?” asked 59-year-old English radio presenter Hammer in the opening scene of the interview.

The actor replied: “You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to have actually eaten somebody.”

Morgan later asked Hammer directly if he had ever “eaten human flesh,” to which Hammer replied, “No. By the way, that’s not a question I ever thought I’d have to answer. But no, never.”

During the extensive interview, which lasted more than an hour, Hammer discussed several of the allegations about him that have made headlines over the years and how they have affected his mental health and his family.

He was also questioned about his past relationships, particularly the affairs he had during his marriage to his now ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers.

The former couple were married from 2010 to 2023 and have daughter Harper (9) and son Ford (7).

“It was a very intense affair, very sexually charged, between two people with very similar inclinations and preferences,” he said of his ex-girlfriend Effie Angelova.

Angelova had accused Hammer of sexual assault, stating during a press conference in 2021: “On April 24, 2017, Armie Hammer brutally raped me for over four hours in Los Angeles. He repeatedly slammed my head against a wall and caused bruises on my face. He also committed other acts of violence against me to which I did not consent.”

Other women made similar allegations, claiming the actor was into cannibalistic fantasies and BDSM, but at the time, Los Angeles police ruled that there was “insufficient evidence to charge Mr. Hammer with a crime.” (According to WebMD, BDSM is “a series of sexual practices that include bondage, discipline, domination, submission, and sadism.”)

“When you take these conversations that we’ve had in the context of this relationship out of that context and bring them into the light of day, they don’t look so good anymore,” Hammer told Morgan.

“You know, different people have different sexual fantasies,” said the Hotel Mumbai The actor continued, “And there is a very broad spectrum of sexuality, and people are allowed to live out their own sexuality in a way that suits them and their actions.”

He added that he believed the rumors of cannibalism “were born out of a desire, like, ‘I want you so much’ and ‘I want you so completely’ that it’s almost like I want to eat you.”

Hammer was also previously accused of branding his ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze with a knife.

“Like the tip of a little knife… I mean, there wasn’t even blood. It was more like a scratch. It’s kind of like when couples get their initials tattooed on each other,” he told Morgan about adding an “A” to her skin.

Hammer claimed that the impact of the allegations caused him to consider suicide, but he decided against it for the sake of his children.

He added that he had to undergo a mental health evaluation during a custody battle with 41-year-old Chambers.

“During the examination, I was only allowed to be with the children if I was accompanied by a therapist,” he recalls, adding that at times he was not allowed to take his children to the toilet.

“It was hard. It was a dark time for everyone.”
