Due to an accident, both lanes of I-470 eastbound are closed

BELMONT COUNTY, OHIO (WTRF) – Both eastbound lanes of I-470 are closed due to an accident involving a semi-truck.

This happened near the I-470/I-70 interchange near the Ohio Valley Mall.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that both eastbound lanes of I-470 are currently closed while emergency crews are cleaning up the scene.

As a detour, you can take I-70 East.

There is no information about the cause of the accident or whether there were any injuries.
