Winter Park police search for missing, at-risk 18-year-old with autism

WINTER PARK, Florida. – Winter Park police are searching for 18-year-old Donavon Jarrod Walker, also known as “DJ,” who was reported missing Saturday and is considered endangered.

Walker, who is autistic, was last seen in the 1300 block of Morgan Stanley Avenue, Winter Park police said in a news release. Walker left his apartment after an argument with his guardian, the news release said.

He was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt with blue writing – seen in the rightmost photo at the top of this story – as well as blue jeans and possibly no shoes, police said.

Walker is 6’3″ tall and weighs 250 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes. He left the area on foot in an unknown direction, police said. Concerns for Walker’s well-being stem in part from the fact that he may not be able to get help if needed.

Anyone who sees Walker or knows his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the police non-emergency number at 407-644-1313.
