31-year-old woman shot in the head in North Philadelphia – NBC10 Philadelphia

Philadelphia police are investigating after a 31-year-old woman was shot in the head early Thursday in North Philadelphia, police said.

According to police, officers responded to a reported incident in the 1200 block of West Cumberland Street in North Philadelphia around 2:32 a.m. Thursday and found a woman who had been shot in the head.

The 31-year-old woman was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead at around 2:42 a.m., according to police.

No arrests have been made in connection with this incident and police have not released any further information about anyone suspected of being involved in the shooting.

However, according to official information, investigations are ongoing.
