Trial of suspended Orlando City Councilwoman Regina Hill postponed – WFTV

ORLANDO, Florida – The trial of suspended Orlando City Councilwoman Regina Hill has been postponed until September.

Hill was arrested in March.

She is accused of forging documents to obtain the power of attorney of a 96-year-old voter.

She is then accused of spending this woman’s money on luxury goods.

Hill pleaded not guilty.

During a hearing on Tuesday, her trial was adjourned until the end of September.

The trial was scheduled to begin on July 22.

Hill’s next court date is now scheduled for September 17, with a new trial beginning on September 30.
