Little Rock fire chief killed in Maumelle crash Sunday | KLRT

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas – A Little Rock Fire Department captain was killed in an accident early Sunday morning.

According to fire officials, Captain Robert Hild was killed in a car accident on Highway 365 in Maumelle at 12:30 a.m.


According to officials, his wife was also in the vehicle, but there is no information on whether she sustained any injuries.

The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police.

Hild served with the Little Rock Fire Department for 25 years and was assigned to Fire Station #9.

He leaves behind his wife and five children.
