Chatham County police officer arrested Friday night in Rincon

RINCON, Georgia (WSAV) – A Chatham County Police (CCSO) officer was arrested in Rincon.

According to the Rincon Police Department (RPD), Carlos Petiote, an officer with the CCSO, was originally stopped for a traffic violation.

However, the RPD says he did not cooperate with the officer and was arrested for obstruction of justice around 11 p.m. Friday.
