Orchard Park Police Arrest Three Teens

Car break-ins early in the morning on July 4 led to the arrest of three teenagers in Orchard Park.

Orchard Park police responded to a complaint filed at 12:13 a.m. Thursday in Hidden Oak Court about juveniles breaking into and stealing from vehicles. When officers arrived, they saw juveniles running into wooded backyards, police said.

Police chased after the teens, while other patrols set up a perimeter and searched the area.

At the same time, other officers responded to another call about juveniles stealing from vehicles on Ellicott Road. Police obtained video of the teens. They found a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old hiding behind trees and arrested them.

An hour later, at 1:14 a.m., police responded to a Breezewood Drive address after receiving a report of an unknown person at the front door. Officers spoke to a 16-year-old youth, determined that he was the youth who had initially fled police, and arrested him.
