Pedestrian hit and killed by car in DeKalb County

STONE MOUNTAIN, Georgia – Police are investigating after a pedestrian was found dead following a hit-and-run crash in DeKalb County late Tuesday night.

Upon arrival, officers found a dead man in the roadway. Authorities said the vehicle involved left the scene before investigators arrived.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released. There is currently no information about a possible suspect.

The incident remains under investigation.
