Woman dies in Lithonia row house fire, authorities say

ATLANTA, Georgia (Atlanta News First) – A woman was killed Monday morning when a fire ravaged a row house in Lithonia.

According to the DeKalb County Fire Department, emergency crews arrived at the home at 6686 Chupp Road around 10:20 a.m.

They said a brother and sister were in the house and the brother made it out safely. However, the sister was found dead upstairs, according to investigators.

It is not known how old the residents were.
