Tim Weah is banned for two matches at the Copa América

The U.S. men’s national team suffered another blow on Saturday.

According to The Athletic, Tim Weah has been banned for two matches following his red card against Panama on Thursday.

In the 18th minute, the winger hit defender Roderick Miller’s head and the USA eventually lost 2-1.

This means that the Americans will compete in the quarterfinals without Weah even if they beat Uruguay in the group final.

The USA must achieve the same or better result as Panama against Bolivia to advance to the next round.
