Woman arrested after investigation into prostitution and drugs

New Hartford police have completed an investigation into drug trafficking and prostitution offenses originating from a residence at 136 Genesee Street in the village. Police say this not only violated the law, but also had a negative impact on the quality of life of other residents in the area.

New Hartford Police Department Patrol and Criminal Investigation Officers Last night, a search warrant was executed on this apartment where 40-year-old Mallory A. Green was staying, who was subsequently taken into custody on a prostitution-related offense.

The residence where Green was found was searched and a quantity of narcotics and drug paraphernalia was found. Mallory Green was taken into custody and charged with one count of PL 230.00, Prostitution, a Class B Misdemeanor, and one count of PL 220.03, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Green was released with a summons and is scheduled to appear in New Hartford City Court at a later date.

As a reminder, all persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty.
