Person dies in crane accident in Bellevue on Thursday morning

The Bellevue Fire Department said a Precision Automotive Plastics employee was trapped under a molding machine and pronounced dead at the scene.

BELLEVUE, Ohio – One person was killed in a crane accident in Bellevue Thursday morning, fire officials said.

According to BFD, they were called to a crane accident at Precision Automotive Plastics around 7:36 a.m. When emergency crews arrived on scene, they said they found an employee trapped under a molding machine.

The employee was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, the fire department said.

“For safety and tactical reasons,” the employee was released around 3 p.m.
