Marlborough Reservoir Flooding – NBC Boston

A 20-year-old man who was fishing with friends at a reservoir in Marlborough, Massachusetts on Sunday died after he went underwater and never resurfaced.

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office said Marlborough police and firefighters responded to Fort Meadow Reservoir at around 4:15 p.m. because a man was missing in the water.

The victim, whose name was not released, was found by Marlborough Fire Department and taken to Marlborough Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

Further details were not initially announced.

The public prosecutor’s office is investigating.
