Dangerous heat continues this week

FIRST WEATHER WARNING DAY: Monday and Tuesday

Monday will be dry, but still hot and humid. Maximum temperatures will remain at around 35 degrees, with the perceived temperature at around 38 degrees.

It will be even hotter on Tuesday, with temperatures rising above 35 degrees. The heat index will be just over three degrees. A heat warning may be necessary for some parts of the central state.

MIDDLE OF THE WEEK

Wednesday won’t be as hot as the rest of the week as rain and thunderstorms move in. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected. It will still be hot and muggy, but highs are likely to be just below 35 degrees due to clouds and rain-cooled air.

Thursday looks dry and sunny. Maximum temperatures will be between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius with partly cloudy skies. On Friday, temperatures will rise again to 35 to 35 degrees Celsius. The heat index values ​​will be in the triple digits again.

FIRST ALET WEATHER DAY: Saturday and Sunday

Temperatures of between 35 and 40 degrees are expected for Saturday and Sunday. Due to the high humidity, heat warnings can be issued in good time, so that the heat index will rise well above three-digit values. As a front is approaching on Sunday, showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon. A strong storm cannot be ruled out at present.
