The General Assembly created the ATL Board of Directors to oversee public transportation planning and financing in metro Atlanta. The agency produces an annual transportation plan and recommends projects for state funding.

Under Sutlive, the board focused on coordinating transit services across the region, unifying branding and creating the region’s first multi-agency mobile app – ATL RIDES.

“While I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities ahead, I will always champion the ATL and the transformative power of efficient, integrated regional transit,” Sutlive said.

Brock started his home construction company in 1984. Since then, he has built thousands of single-family and multi-family homes in Georgia, Alabama and Florida.

“Steve’s extensive experience in residential development and deep understanding of the regional landscape positions him well for this leadership role on the ATL Board of Directors,” said Jannine Miller, executive director of the agency.
