Simple Date Idea for Double Dates in Western New York

Soon an outing with friends? Having trouble finding somewhere to eat? Try this idea to help you narrow down your choices.

We all go through it. You want to get together with a group of friends or another couple and you’re all having trouble finding a place to go. We started doing this a few months ago and it’s been great to not only try new places we’ve never been to, but also discover some places we haven’t been to in a while.

A few months ago, my wife and I planned to go out with another couple. None of us had been to the Anchor Bar in a while and we all thought, why not try again? That’s what we did. While we were there we decided we were having a good time and wanted to do it again, but where should we go? One of us had the idea that we were in a restaurant that started with the letter A, why not choose one next time that started with the letter B? That’s what we did and we chose a place we had never been to before. It was an Italian restaurant near Kleinhans called Bellini’s.

You see where I’m going with this, right? We literally just went through the alphabet and removed one restaurant after another in order. We only do one restaurant a month so we don’t break the bank too much, but this has been a great way to try new places and revisit some we haven’t been to in a while. They don’t all they also have to be chic/expensive places.

While we eat, we prepare our next meal and plan it immediately so that it is on the schedule. It’s a great way to choose well in advance and have something to look forward to! (This also narrows down your choices for this month to make it easier!)
