Employee of a massage parlor allegedly sexually harassed customers

ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – Earlier this month, a massage parlor employee was arrested after two customers reported sexual harassment. Peng Wang, 49, was charged with sexual harassment, a second-degree felony, and indecent assault, a Class A misdemeanor.

According to an Odessa Police report, officers responded to a 911 call at a massage parlor at 1904 W 42 on May 30and Street after a woman called 911 to say an employee had touched her inappropriately. The woman told investigators that she was being massaged by a male employee when he began kissing her, touching her, and exposing his genitals. According to the report, the woman escaped further assault when the employee backed away and she was able to run away.

Just days later, on June 2, investigators received another report from the same business. In this case, a customer said she fell asleep during a massage and woke up with a “strange feeling.” The woman said the only male employee, later identified as Wang, began kissing her inappropriately during a massage. The woman said she immediately left the business and called 911.

During the subsequent investigation, Wang reportedly admitted to being the only male employee at the massage parlor; however, he claimed the alleged victims were actually the perpetrators in both cases and said the women grabbed him and touched him inappropriately. Wang was arrested on a warrant on June 3 and has since been released from the Ector County Law Enforcement Center on a total of $54,000 bail. A mug shot of Wang was not immediately available.
