2 men shot dead in southwest Atlanta drug incident, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Two men were shot Sunday morning in what appears to be a drug-related incident, Atlanta police said.

Officers were called to a grocery store at 37 Lynhurst Dr. SW around 2 a.m., where they found the men in the woods nearby. One was shot in the shoulder and the other in the abdomen, police said.

The men were taken to hospital and are expected to survive. Police have not yet shared information on any suspects.
