Police investigate shooting at Shelbyville fair

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – One person was shot at a carnival in a company parking lot Friday night.

Shelbyville police responded to a call about gunshots heard just before 10:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Madison Street Self Storage, where the carnival is taking place. Officers found a man who had been shot in the arm. He was taken to Vanderbilt Bedford County Hospital for treatment.

Police reports indicate that multiple people were involved in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
