Man reportedly drove over two hours to Bath to meet teenager – Finger Lakes Daily News

According to police, a 35-year-old Mohawk Valley man is accused of driving nearly two and a half hours to Mossy Bank Park in the village of Bath to pick up a 14-year-old girl and bring her home.

It is alleged that Andrew McCarthy intended to have a sexual relationship with the teenager.

McCarthy, who lives in Otego, was charged with attempted rape and attempted enticement of a child, both felonies.
