PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – The Calvert County Board of Commissioners presented the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Stolen Vehicle Alert Team with a Team Excellence Award.

On January 6, 2024, Sergeant Robshaw led his team on a chase involving a stolen vehicle. Despite the danger, Sergeant Robshaw and his officers maintained control of the situation and utilized their training effectively. K-9 partner Stryker and his handler DFC Idol played a critical role in tracking and apprehending the suspects, demonstrating exceptional teamwork.

Additionally, Cpl. Bortchevsky and Dty. Daily deployed drones with heat detection capabilities, which further assisted the operation and led to the successful apprehension of all suspects.
