6-year-old girl killed in crash at Pomona intersection – NBC Los Angeles

Flowers and other items were left at the scene of an accident in Pomona on Tuesday evening that killed a six-year-old girl.

The girl was walking with a woman in the area of ​​Towne Avenue and Lexington Avenue around 8 p.m. when they were hit by a car.

The girl died at the scene of the accident. The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver remained on site.

The victim was identified by the coroner’s office on Wednesday as 6-year-old Guadalupe Alvarez Salgado of Pomona.
