“Critical incident” in Millcreek overnight activated officer involved log

MILLCREEK – The Unified Police Department said it responded to a critical incident call late Monday evening. Very few details had been released as of Tuesday morning.

The UPD said its officers responded near the areas of 3500 South and 2300 East.

“An incident occurred where the critical incident protocol was activated involving officers,” said a news release sent to media shortly before 2 a.m

When KSL TV arrived at the scene, police had cordoned off an area around several homes and part of 2300 East.

It was not immediately specified what the incident was, but said more information would be released.

UPD said West Valley Police will conduct the investigation.
