A crash in Dale Co. leaves one dead and a child critically injured, coroner says WDHN

DALE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) – A Dale County woman was killed and her child was injured in a car accident on Fort Novosel.

Coroner John Cawley identified the victim as 23-year-old Kimberley Nicole Ingram of Ozark. Ingram was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:50 p.m. Thursday.

Coroner Cawley said Ingram’s three-year-old daughter was critically injured in the crash and flown to a hospital in Birmingham.

Coroner Cawley told WDHN that Ingram’s car left the roadway and struck a tree on Highway 27 in Fort Novosel, between Ozark and Enterprise.
