Death investigation underway after New Hampshire woman killed in lawnmower incident – Boston 25 News

WINCHESTER, NH – A death investigation is underway after a New Hampshire woman was killed in a lawnmower incident over the weekend, officials said.

Officers responding to a 911 call about a lawnmower rollover with traumatic injuries on Burt Hill Road in Winchester, New Hampshire, shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday found a woman in her 60s dead at the scene, according to Winchester Police Chief David Rice.

The woman, whose name has not been released, is believed to be the owner of the home where she was found.

Police are working with the coroner’s office to determine the exact cause of the woman’s death.

“It appears that for an unknown reason the lawn mower skidded over an embankment and overturned,” Rice said in a statement.
