Four arrested for triple murder in 2013 | News

“I am pleased to announce today that through hard work and diligent investigation, within 48 hours, all four murder suspects in three states were taken into custody without incident,” Clayton County Sheriff Levon Allen said in a statement Friday.

“We were informed that Mr. Keante Harris was arrested on Wednesday afternoon,” Jefferson County Schools Superintendent Walter Golsoulin said in a statement. “We are currently still gathering facts about the specifics of this situation. However, initial indications indicate that the charges are not related to this individual’s employment with Jefferson County Schools. In accordance with standard procedure, Mr. Harris has been placed on paid administrative leave. As additional facts become available, we will act in accordance with our district’s policies.”

The CCSO said that on January 13, 2013, Union City Police officers were on general patrol in the area of ​​I-85 in Fulton County when they saw an abandoned 2010 Dodge Charger.

During further inspection, officers found three bodies in the vehicle.

“Through the investigation, it was determined that all three victims were tortured and murdered in Clayton County and dumped in Fulton County,” reads an alert from CCSO Nixle.

The victims were lured to a residence on Magnolia Drive in Jonesboro, where they were forced into the residence at gunpoint, the CCSO said. They were later loaded into the back seat of a Dodge Charger and taken to Fulton County.

The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office said Clayton County police investigators have solved the 11-year-old’s cold case.

On Wednesday, May 8, the CCSO received twelve murder warrants against the suspects and the Elite Fugitive Unit was activated to locate and arrest all four suspects.

Multiple agencies were involved – the Clayton County Police Department, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office, the Clayton County Prosecutor’s Office, the Union City Police Department, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama, the Greer Police Department in South Carolina, and the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina and Edgefield Federal Correctional Institute in South Carolina.
