2 hospitalized after accident during chase in East Indy

INDIANAPOLIS – Two people were hospitalized after a police chase ended in a crash and a car fire early Wednesday on Indianapolis’ east side.

An IMPD supervisor on the scene told 13News that officers attempted to stop a reckless car that was fleeing police before the crash.

At least one of the people hospitalized is a minor, police said.

All lanes of East 34th Street are closed in this area.
