REST OF THIS WEEK:

Today is the wettest day of the week for the entire Mid-State. Expect showers this afternoon, gradually tapering off by early evening. With periods of cloud and rain today, temperatures will be mostly in the upper 20s.

Tonight there will be only isolated showers, making the weather more suitable for outdoor activities. It will remain mild and humid, with temperatures slowly falling below 21 degrees.

Precipitation chances are highest tomorrow and Thursday as southern Middle Tennessee moves southeastward, but scattered showers and thunderstorms will still be possible elsewhere in the Midwest during the afternoon and evening.

Some short showers and thunderstorms are still possible on Friday.

THIS WEEKEND:

This weekend will bring some more sunshine, warmer weather and more isolated showers and thunderstorms. The chance of rain is 30-40% on both days, with the main rainfall occurring from midday onwards.

NEXT WEEK:

The unstable weather pattern we are currently in will continue until early next week.

On Monday and Tuesday, the probability of rain showers and thunderstorms is 40%. Low temperatures will be just over 21 degrees and highs just over 35 degrees.
