Altoona Police are seeking information regarding a property damage incident that occurred sometime between June 28 and July 3 on Gospel Hill in the city.

According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, the war memorial was spray-painted on all four sides with the words “Pharoah 2024.”

In addition, several light poles and a railing as well as a concrete staircase were sprayed with graffiti.

The electrical connection of a light pole was damaged, the wires were exposed and two capstones of the south staircase were destroyed.
